Business experiences in Uruguay first hand:

This time the focus was expanded for operations of Regional Corporate Centers.
These centers, defined as operations with more than 20 employees, from international companies that use the country as a "regional hub", in modalities ranging from Regional Headquartes, Shared Services Centers, Trading Centers, Regional Distribution Centers, Development Centers Software or research and development.

By 2015, 55 centers of this type were surveyed, which together occupy more than 10 thousand people.
70% of these operations are located in free zones (Zonamerica, WTC Free Zone, Aguada Park or Parque de las Ciencias Free Zone Park) and 30% in non-free territory, within the metropolitan area of Montevideo. 74% of the operations correspond to the modality of captive or inhouse centers and 26% are centers of outsourced international suppliers.

Uruguay XXI, through Uruguay Smart Services, promotes the country as a strong ally to install operations as Regional Corporate Centers. Within this framework, the second edition of Uruguay Business Experience promotes Uruguay as a high-quality hub at competitive prices. The call makes a special focus on Latin American prospects - focusing on Brazil - the United States and Europe.
